The Democratic Republic of Congo is bordered to the north by the Central African Republic, to the northeast by Sudan, to the east by Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Lake Tanganyika, to the south by Zambia, to the southwest by Angola and to the west by the Republic of Congo and the Atlantic Ocean.

Tourism Policy Environment

Tourism development in the DRC falls under the auspices of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Environment, Nature Conservation and Tourism.  The extent of the Committee’s activities could not, however, be ascertained.
